Concilio Latino de Salud in partnership with the
Issac School District offers a fun day of FREE events awaits those who attend the ¡Vive tu vida! Get Up! Get Moving!® annual celebration in Phoenix, Arizona. The event will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Issac Middle School. 


Participants will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of exciting activities, including fitness walks for all ages and sizes, dancing, face painting, and many other fun activities! They can enjoy tennis and soccer demonstrations, skate boarding clinics, and basketball games. FREE health screenings and health education will also be available. Food, live entertainment, and giveaways of health and fitness-related prizes will be incorporated in the day's activities and attractions!

About Concilio Latino de Salud: 
Concilio is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit, community-based organization that provides culturally competent, linguistically appropriate prevention education about a wide range of health topics of great concern to the Hispanic community including: HIV/AIDS and other STIs (sexually transmitted infections), cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity, inhalant/substance abuse among young adults, preventative vaccinations for babies and children, tobacco use elimination and others. We actively pursue goals set by the national and state projects such as Healthy People 2010 through programming, advocacy, public policy analysis, workshops, community-wide education, service and resource referrals, applied research, and media links.
